This session presents best practices and insight on how to manage difficult arrests on the casino floor. Speakers discuss how to minimize injuries to employees and patrons, minimize liability exposure and deal with the public in these sometimes necessary arrests. Effective methods for avoiding “take downs” and “dog piles” will be offered, and a series of actual video clips of incidents are shown. Case discussions on applicable policies and procedures, training, reporting and liability exposure through trial are also presented.
