With hundreds or thousands of hotel rooms to fill on a daily basis, operators are faced with a difficult decision in attracting financially reluctant customers. Discounting hotel rooms may fill rooms for now, but at what cost to the gaming floor now and to your typical price structures later? Will value-seeking customers patronize high-end restaurants, shops and entertainment venues?
